 Former President Barack Obama, during his remarks to a gathered audience in the state of Pennsylvania on Tuesday night, spoke at length about the growing concern of political violence within the United States, warning the people present, as well as the wider nation, that America has arrived at what he described as “an inflection point,” meaning a very delicate and decisive period in history where the choices made, the actions taken, and the values upheld will ultimately determine not only the immediate political climate but also the long-term direction, stability, and very survival of American democracy.

NDA TO GRADUATE 876 CADETS

 NDA to Graduate 876 Cadets By Abimaje Moses The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) has announced plans to graduate 876 cadets from both the Regular Course and the Short Service Commission Course. Commandant of the Academy, Major General Abdulkalifa Ibrahim, made this known during the Beating of Retreat ceremony held for cadets of the 72 Regular Course and the Short Service Course 48 Army in Kaduna. The Beating of Retreat marks the conclusion of cadet training at the NDA and signifies their readiness to be commissioned as officers into the Nigerian Armed Forces. According to the Academy, the cadets, who have undergone five years of rigorous military and academic training, have been adequately prepared for the challenges ahead. Chief of Training, Nigerian Army, Major General Abubakar Ndalolo, praised the Academy for molding young men and women from diverse backgrounds into disciplined and professional officers committed to defending Nigeria’s sovereignty.
