 🚨 BREAKING: Botswana Suspends Electricity Supply to South Africa, Closes Borders Over Xenophobic Attacks


In a bold and unprecedented move, Botswana’s President, Duma Boko, has reportedly ordered the suspension of electricity supply to parts of South Africa following rising cases of xenophobic attacks against Botswana citizens.


The Botswana government has also directed the immediate closure of its borders and called for the urgent return of all its nationals currently residing in South Africa.


President Boko condemned the harsh and unacceptable treatment of Botswana citizens, reminding South Africa of Botswana’s support during the struggle against apartheid. He emphasized that the safety and dignity of his people must never be compromised.


This decisive action has sparked strong reactions across Africa, with many calling it a firm stance in defense of citizens abroad. Some observers believe other African leaders, including those in Nigeria, may need to adopt similar approaches when their citizens face injustice overseas.

 NDA to Graduate 876 Cadets By Abimaje Moses The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) has announced plans to graduate 876 cadets from both the Regular Course and the Short Service Commission Course. Commandant of the Academy, Major General Abdulkalifa Ibrahim, made this known during the Beating of Retreat ceremony held for cadets of the 72 Regular Course and the Short Service Course 48 Army in Kaduna. The Beating of Retreat marks the conclusion of cadet training at the NDA and signifies their readiness to be commissioned as officers into the Nigerian Armed Forces. According to the Academy, the cadets, who have undergone five years of rigorous military and academic training, have been adequately prepared for the challenges ahead.
