One farmer said that selling just one bag of cocoa fetched between ₦800,000 and ₦1,200,000, which matched or exceeded his salary as a civil engineer. 


Another source states that ₦950,000 for one bag is now common — for many with regular salaries, that’s months, maybe years, of salary. 



So, for many cocoa farmers, their revenue from just a few bags can rival or surpass what many professionals earn in a year or more
